One of NYC’s longest running Salsa events is finally back! Join us every 3rd Saturday of the month for 4 hours of uninterrupted social dancing at the new Abakuá Mambo Knights!

Presented by world-renowned choreographer and instructor, Frankie Martinez, and co-hosted by Manny Blackett of the Abakuá Dance Company. The Abakuá Social is dedicated to the Latin/Afro-Latin dance community and the infectious music we love dancing to. Featuring classic Mambo and Salsa Dura, along with the soulful sounds of Cha Cha Cha, Pachanga, and other rhythms in Salsa, we’ll have you dancing the night away!  

Since 2006, Abakuá has served as a safe, fun, and inclusive event for dancers of all levels and backgrounds, from absolute beginner to seasoned professional. We look forward to seeing you on our beautiful new dance floor soon!
